• Remove loose particles, laitance, dust oil, grease and curing agents.
• For old concrete, scrub, water-jet or mechanically roughen to expose a sound surface.
• Dampen the substrate to SSD (Saturated Surface Dry) condition – avoid standing water.
• Stir Ultrabond Hack Free thoroughly before use.
• Apply neat as a primer or prepare a slurry by mixing 1 part Ultrabond Hack Free : 1 part fresh cement (by volume).
• Apply bonding coat using brush, roller or spray.
• Allow the coat to become tacky (approx. 5-15 min).
• Place plaster, mortar screed or new concrete while the coat remains tacky.
• For guniting/shotcrete, apply a thin primer layer to reduce rebound loss and improve adhesion.
