FERROCARE LCI
Bipolar Corrosion Inhibiting Liquid Concrete Admixture for RCC & Structural Grade Mortars
Ready-to-use liquid admixture which, when added to the mix at a defined dosage, results in reduction of electro-chemical corrosion for both anodic and cathodic reactions, by formation of film on embedded steel and thus delaying the onset of corrosion.
Area of Application: Any kind of RCC structures and elements, especially exposed to corrosive environment like:
Infrastructure projects
Marine or coastal projects
Water retaining structures
Sewage treatment plants
Underground structures
• FERROCARE LCI is to be used as an integral liquid additive.
• Recommended dosage: 2 – 2.5 kg/m³.
• It is advisable to disperse the product into batch water and then add into concrete mix at the time of batching.
• Protects against corrosion of embedded reinforcement steel, even in high chloride exposure conditions.
• Non-toxic, eco-friendly.
• Does not affect or alter the strength and other mechanical properties of concrete/mortar.
• No effect on bond strength between reinforcement and concrete.
• Does not alter density of concrete.
