Artisanal work which is carried out as surface treatment on freshly laid concrete
Stamped Concrete
Stamped concrete or textured/imprinted concrete replicates natural materials like stones, flags, bricks, tiles and wood.
There are 4 distinct procedures used in stamped concrete:
The addition of a base color
The addition of an accent color
Stamping a pattern into the concrete
Application of a penetrative sealer before opening for usage
Sand faced concrete/ Exposed aggregate concrete
Sand-faced/exposed aggregate concrete enhances the surface texture with sand grains or larger aggregates, providing a durable, skid-resistant, and wear-resistant finish. Sand facing is achieved with dry-shake decorative surface hardeners, while exposed aggregates are applied wet-on-wet for the desired base color and aggregate gradation.
The surface finish can be obtained by three different methods, a decision which needs to be project specific.
Well timed pressure washing of surface
Using surface retarders & washing
Wet-on-wet application
